Early Christmas Present

Dec 21st, 2011

Tim Baker was up the mountain training rookies today. Here's the story in his words "After skiing we were having a debrief in the chalet when this gentleman came in and right up the stairs.  I asked if I could help him and he said yes.  He wanted to give a donation to the volunteer ski patrol.  He stepped up to the bar and wrote a cheque for 500$.  We picked him up on milky way, last season, with a broken collarbone.  This was his way of saying thanks.  I asked how his injury was now and he said 100% thanks to us.  He did request a receipt which I said we would mail to him. His name and address is on the cheque. He wished us all a merry Christmas, and left, with our thanks ringing in his ears."
